QW2002 involved over 80 Conference Presentations and over 40 full technical papers included in the Conference CD-ROM. Two very special QW2002 Awards went to the winning participant:

Paper
Award The members of the QW2002 Advisory Board selected the QW2002 Best Paper Award, whose author(s) received a cash prize of $500.

Presentation
Award QW2002 attendees voted for the QW2002 Best Presentation Award, and the presenter was invited to give the same presentation at QWE2003 in Brussels, Belgium March 2003.

The QW2002 Best Paper Award, which carries a cash prize of $500, was awarded to Mr. Giri Vijayaraghavan & Dr. Cem Kaner for their paper (Florida Tech Dept of Computer Sciences) (4I1) "Bugs in Your Shopping Cart: A Taxonomy".
The Best Presentation Award, which includes a certificate and an invitation to present the same talk at QWE2003, went to Prof. Dick Hamlet (Portland State University) for his talk (5G1) "Science, Computer "Sciences", Mathematics, and Software Development ".
